Julio Borbon's Experience

Julio Borbon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as the Hitting/Outfield Coordinator. A standout player during his collegiate years at the University of Tennessee, Borbon was a key contributor to the Volunteers’ success, including a memorable run to the College World Series in 2005. His performance earned him recognition as a Freshman All-American that year.

Following his successful college career, Borbon was selected in the 1st round of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers. He quickly made his mark in the big leagues, serving as the starting center fielder for the Rangers during their back-to-back American League Championship seasons in 2010 and 2011. Borbon’s experience at the highest level of baseball has proven invaluable in his role as a coordinator.

With over 18 years of professional experience, Borbon has honed his skills both on the field and in coaching capacities. His dedication to the game and passion for helping players reach their full potential make him a valuable asset to our organization.
