They help the kids learn the right way to play as individuals and as a team, while identifying areas of potential improvement in fundamental skills. We had lots of experiences with coaches in my son’s baseball career (some great, some awful, and most somewhere in between). My son’s learning experience with the Red Birds Baseball Club is definitely in the “great” category, as much of that can be attributed to their knowledge, never-ending passion, unwavering dedication, and an all-out commitment to helping the kids learn the wonderful game of baseball.”

“Since my boys started working with James Jones and the other RBC coaches, my sons’ development as baseball players, teammates and leaders have hit another gear. The coaches’ experience and knowledge provide instruction from the highest levels of baseball. They also provide that instruction in a manner that may best be described as a “player’s coach” style. They know how to manage that difficult balance of discipline with care, concern and humor. “Trey has played baseball since he was 4 years old. Over the years we’ve had many experiences with many different types of teams and coaches. Those experiences have been from very disappointing and destructive to extremely positive and encouraging. The Redbirds Baseball Club and specifically Coach James Jones have been one of the most positive and encouraging experiences we’ve had. Our relationship with Coach Jones began with pitching lessons. We were amazed at how much improvement we saw! Then Trey decided to join the Redbirds. With the help of the coaches and teammates, Trey has matured as a player and as a teammate. The coaches take a personal interest in the kids. They are easily accessible and often check on them during down times to see how they are doing. I think the boys somewhat idolize these coaches because of their baseball success. And because they have gotten to know them personally, it makes the boys see that with hard work and dedication their goals of playing college ball or even professional ball are achievable. We are excited to see what the future holds for Trey and the Redbirds Baseball Club!”
